With a background in Liberal Arts, you can explore your interests through studying Arts and Humanities, Behavioral and Social Sciences, and Child Development. You’ll develop a well-rounded background with established critical-thinking and communication skills that will give you an edge in every job market.

Arts & Humanities Department

Through our department, you can learn how people throughout history have related to their world through art, literature, music, film, and other forms of expression by studying art, music, theater arts, communication studies, philosophy, and humanities.


Behavioral & Social Science Department

Study the actions and behaviors of people and societies throughout history and the world in order to strengthen our communities and improve our lives through specific lenses, such as African American Studies, Chicano Studies, administration of justice, social justice studies, and others. Or, study them more broadly through psychology, sociology, anthropology, history, and more.


Child Development Department

Help children develop cognitively, socially, and emotionally as they go through their formative stages of human development. You can earn degrees and certificates in early childhood education and child development programs so you will have the knowledge, skills, and competencies to seek careers working with children.
